Q & A

Where do we stay?

Due to the location and property size, we encourage everyone to camp on site within the two fields on either side of the driveway. Airstreams, camper vans, and tents are all welcome and allowed. If camping is not your style, we understand, and accommodations can be booked at Dolores Mountain Inn, Rico Mineshaft Inn, nearby Air BnB/Bed n' Breakfast or at Dunton Hot Springs.

What do we wear?

Firstly, we want you to be COMFORTABLE. This is Dolores, not Manhattan, and therefore sensible shoes and a warm jacket are a must. You are expected to dance, so make sure you can drop it low and spin it right round with whatever outfit you choose. Outside of that, we would love everyone to dress in "mountain formal" (whatever that means, right?). Ladies: Think pretty dresses, jumpsuits, or skirts + flats or boots and an overcoat. Men: Think slacks or nice jeans with a blazer + sneakers or boots and an overcoat. Note: A costume box for the afterparty will be provided but donations or "borrow mes" are encouraged.

Will there be booze?

Of course, who do you think we are? We will provide beer, wine and some premade cocktails. If you have a favorite liquor or want to contribute a six pack, feel free to bring it with you.

What about the kids?

We are requesting this remain as an adults-only event -- for their safety, and to avoid a life-scarring image of their parents on the dance floor. If this is not feasible and we risk losing your attendance, please contact us directly and we will find a suitable compromise.

What about the dogs?

As much as we would love to celebrate with all of your furry family members, we kindly ask that you leave them behind a night in order to fully embark (hah, see what we did there) on our wedding adventure.
